KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Bemidji State University soccer earned a spot on the 2021-22 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award list in an announcement Thursday from the organization's national office.
Bemidji State, which carried a 3.68 cumulative team grade point average in 2021-22, was one of eight programs within the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and 382 women's soccer teams from all collegiate levels across the country to earn the United Soccer Coaches honor for 2021-22.
To be eligible for the award, a team must post a grade point average of at least 3.0. The 2021-22 award is the third straight and the ninth instance since 2012-13 being honored by the organization for success in the classroom.
