Derek Hoffman and
Konrad Kisch from the Bemidji State University Baseball team were each named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team announced Tuesday morning. All three earn the academic honor for the first time in their careers.

The Academic All-District Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student- athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All- America® honorees will be announced June 7.

College Sports Communicators (CSC) began the distinguished Academic All-America program in 1952, and since then, has honored more than 38,000 deserving student-athletes from numerous sports across all divisions with these elite Academic All-America scholar-athlete honors.
