BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Men's Hockey senior defenseman
Tony Follmer signed his first professional contract to play for the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL Thursday evening.

Follmer, a native of O'Fallon, Mo., joins the Solar Bears on a Standard Player Contract (SPC) after a four-year career at Bemidji State appearing in 129 collegiate games. He totaled 12 points off three goals and nine assists in his career including a career-high seven points (2g-5a) during the 2024-25 season.

Folllmer is a three-time CCHA Scholar-Athlete, CCHA All-Academic Team selection and AHCA All-American Scholar.

He joins
Mattias Sholl as former Beavers who have inked professional contracts during the 2024-25 offseason.
