WAYNE, Neb. – The Bemidji State University Women's Golf team made a 38-stroke improvement on day two of the Wildcat Classic Tuesday afternoon to finish 11
th at the final tournament ahead of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships next weekend.

The Beavers shot 335 in the second round of the tournament, the second-lowest single round score by the Beavers this season. BSU finished with a combined score of 708 (373-335) and were led by freshman
Sara Sroga who shot a 167 (86-81), four strokes back of tying a career-best by the freshman.

She was followed by sophomore
Haylee Kammann who shot 175 (94-81). Sroga and Kammann's 81 score on day two tied for the fourth lowest round by a Beaver this season while Kammann's second round was one-stroke behind of tying her career low.

Freshman
Bailey Tilley followed with a career-low 180 (93-87) and her day two score of 87 was a career low. She was followed by freshmen
Trista Bilden (102-86) and
Lauren Kammann (100-88) who each shot 188 to round out the Beavers' top-five.

The Beavers now prepare for the NSIC Championships April 25-27 where they travel to Smithville, Mo., to compete in the three-day, three-round postseason tournament held at the Paradise Point Complex.
