BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Women's Golf team improved by 12 strokes and jumped two spots in the standings at the Tracy Lane Memorial Invitational Tuesday afternoon at the Bemidji Town and Country Club. The Beavers finished the tournament with a team score of 730 (371-359) to finish seventh among the nine teams competing.

Concordia University-St. Paul won the tournament after combining for a score of 666 (336-330) edging out University of Minnesota Crookston (335-335) by four strokes. For complete results,

Bemidji State sophomore
Sara Sroga led the Beavers and finished 24
th with a score of 178 (93-85). She was followed by junior
Abby Turkowski who tied for 26
th in her first tournament as a Beaver shooting 181 (94-87).
Lauren Kammann (94-91=185),
Haylee Kammann (90-96=186) and
Bailey Tilley (103-107=210) rounded out the Beavers' team score while
Isabella Depew (99-104=203) and
Nakomis Mitchell (106-109=215) competed as individuals for the Beavers.

CSP's Addi Wood and University of Mary's Annie Neva tied for first in the tournament with Wood earning the individual title through tie break.

Bemidji State will next travel to Hudson, Wis., to compete at the MSU/CSP Fall Brawl at the Troy Burne Golf Course Sept. 15-16.
