WAYNE Neb. – The Bemidji State University Women's Golf team combined for its lowest tournament since September and third lowest of the season Monday-Tuesday at the Wildcat Classic at the Wayne Country Club in Wayne, Neb. Bemidji State combined for a team score of 686 (339-347) a 38-stroke improvement from its last tournament and the lowest team score since The Jewel Invitational in September.

The Beavers finished 11
th of 13 competing teams at the tournament while University of Nebraska-Kearney won with a score of 602 (308-294).

Sophomore
Lauren Kammann paced the Beavers shooting 164 (81-83), tying the lowest 36-hole score of her career. She was followed by her sister Haylee who shot 168 (84-84), her second-lowest score of the season. Sophomore
Sara Sroga joined Haylee by shooting 168 (83-85), for also her second-lowest tournament of the year.

Bailey Tilley finished fourth on the team carding 186 (91-95) while senior
Kylie Struble rounded out the Beavers' five scorers shooting 197 (101-96). Junior
Nakomis Mitchell competed as an individual for the Beavers and shot 199 (103-96).

The Beavers next prepare for the 2026 NSIC Women's Golf Championship held April 22-24. Bemidji State will travel to Blue Springs, Mo., and the Adams Pointe Golf Complex to compete in the three-day, 54-hole tournament.
