BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Bemidji State University Women's Golf junior
Haylee Kammann shot the program's lowest three-round score at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Golf Championship since the conference switched to the three-round format in 2017. Kammann carded a 21-over par 237 (79-79-79) at the championship to tie for 15
th individually.
She bested Katy Woelfel's previous mark of 240 (83-78-79) set at the 2017 NSIC Championship. Kammann carded 79 in all three rounds, tied for the second lowest single-round score at the championship in program history.
The Beavers finished 11
th of 13 as a team combining for a score of 1059 (355-350-354), their fourth lowest team score at the tournament in the three-round format and lowest score since 2021.
Wayne State College took home the team title edging out Minnesota State University, Mankato by five strokes after it combined for a team score of 926 (311-312-303).
Following Kammann was her sister Lauren who carded 256 (85-87-84), the lowest three-round score of her collegiate career, to finish 42
nd. She was followed by
Sara Sroga who carded 277 (97-90-90) and tied for 52
nd.
Bailey Tilley tied for 59
th after shooting 289 (94-94-101).
Nakomis Mitchell shot rounds of 106 and 128 in the first two days before being subbed out for
Kaitlyn Reeves in the final round who shot 118.
