BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Bemidji State University Men's Golf junior
Logan Schoepp fired a career-low four-under par 68 to lead the Beavers on day one of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Men's Golf Championship held at Adams Point Golf Club in Blue Springs, Mo., Thursday.

Schoepp leads all 46 individuals atop of the leaderboard while the Beavers are tied with Concordia University-St. Paul for the top team score combining for a team score of 294 (+6). Schoepp also led the group recording six birdies in the round.

He was followed by fifth-year senior
Jack Southard who shot an even-par 72 and is tied for third individually. Four of the Beavers' five golfers finished in the top-20 after the opening round with
Tate Usher and Kobey Kuenzel each carding a five-over par 77 to tie for 20
th. Freshman
Brogan Paschal was just outside the top 20 and tied for 23
rd with a six-over par 78.

The teams return Adams Point Golf Club tomorrow morning for round two of three beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
