BEMIDJI, Minn – Bemidji State University Track and Field travels to Duluth, Minn. this weekend to take part in the 2025 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship at James S. Malosky Stadium.
The NSIC Championships begin Thursday afternoon with the multis starting at 1 p.m. Mille Rosaeg will take part in the women's heptathlon, starting with the 100-meter hurdles around 1:30 p.m. The 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200-meter dash are all scheduled for Thursday. On Friday, the multi athletes will compete in long jump, javelin and 800-meter run.
Track events start at 9 a.m. Friday morning with the women's 3000-meter steeplechase being the first event Beaver athletes will compete in, seeing
Maggie McCarthy,
Callie Ressler and
Ava Werner run around 12:50 p.m.
Sophie Rylance will take to the track at 3:30 p.m. for the women's 800-meter run preliminaries followed by
Makenna Frazier in the 400-meter hurdles prelims at 4:20 p.m.
Non-multi events on the field side of things begin around 12:30 p.m. Friday with shot put and high jump. Around 3 p.m.,
Olivia Olson and
Chloe Knott will take the field for the women's pole vault, followed by hammer throw and long jump at 3:30 p.m.
Saturday's track schedule begins at 1:05 p.m. with the 4x100-meter relays. Finals for the track events are set to take place from 1:25 p.m. until 3:35 p.m. The day will finish off with the Beavers running in the 4x400-meter relay with the team of
Josie Aitken,
Makenna Frazier,
Hailey Selly and
Sophie Rylance.
The final events for the field competitions begin at 11 a.m. Saturday morning when
Zayda Priebe,
Maya Wagner,
Trista Bilden and
Elle Bettcher will take on the discus throw. Finishing the day,
Mikenna Pattrin, Bilden and Priebe will also compete in the javelin throw at 2 p.m.
