Beavers host a pair of NSIC matches in home opener

BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Bemidji State University tennis team will host its first set of home matches this weekend. Saturday, the Beavers will take on Upper Iowa University at 6 p.m., and then the University of Minnesota Duluth Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Both Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contests will take place at the Gillett Recreation-Fitness Center.

BSU earned its first NSIC victory in almost two years Feb. 8 when the team played Southwest Minnesota State University, 7-2. The next day the Beavers dropped a match against St. Cloud State, 6-3.

Bemidji State resumes action on March 22 and 23 in Sioux Falls, S.D. where it will go up against the College of St. Benedict and Augustana College.
