Bemidji, Minn. (Gillett Wellness Center) – Augustana University swept the Bemidji State University tennis team, 4-0, Sunday at the Gillett Wellness Center.

In a shortened match, Augustana picked up the doubles point with two wins over Bemidji State. AU took three of the four singles matches, with an unfinished match in the number one spot between Zoe Lindgren and Taylor Jackson. In the number two spot, Hannah Alme fell to Grace Goble, 6-1, 6-2. Number three singles went to Anca Rusu over BSU's Breann Walsh, 6-4, 6-0, and number four singles was won by Rebecca Falker, 6-0, 6-1, over Hannah Peterson.

The Beavers move to 5-3 for the season and 2-2 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. Next weekend, BSU travels to Grand Forks, N.D. to take on Minnesota State University Moorhead and University of Mary in a pair of neutral-site matches. Matches begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, respectively.
