Box Score Bemidji, Minn. (Gillett Wellness Center) – The Bemidji State University women's tennis team completed its home Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play with a sweep over University of Minnesota Crookston.
BSU took the early lead by sweeping doubles play and clenching the first point. The Beavers did not drop a game in singles play, earning them all six singles points, and giving them their final home NSIC win of the 2019 season. BSU improves to 8-5 overall and 5-4 in NSIC play. The Beavers have taken home matches 5-2 this season and go on the road next weekend.
The Beavers travel to Winona, Minn. Mar. 30-31 to compete in the last pair of NSIC matches against Winona State University and Upper Iowa University. Matches are set to begin at 3 pm and noon, respectively. Following their trip to Winona, the Beavers will travel to Fargo, N.D. to take on Concordia College Apr. 6. They will then return home for Senior Day Apr. 7 to round out the regular season against University of Wisconsin- River Falls at noon.
