BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced its WCHA Scholar-Athletes Thursday afternoon and the Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team led the league with 17 student-athletes featured on the list which ties a program record set in 2019-20 for most WCHA Scholar-Athletes selected.

To qualify, student-athletes must have a grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale in their previous two semesters or three-quarters and who have achieved at least sophomore status in their academic careers.

Located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, Bemidji State University sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men's hockey membership in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and women's hockey membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
