BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Men's Golf team was voted to finish fourth by league coaches in the 2026-27 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Men's Golf Preseason Coaches' Poll announced by the league Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Beavers garnered 69 points in the league to finish fourth while defending NSIC Champions Winona State was picked to win the league title with 97 points and eight first-place votes. Bemidji State senior Teagan LaPlante was tabbed as the Beavers' Preseason Student-Athlete to Watch after finishing the 2025-26 season tied for sixth in the NSIC Championship and averaged 74.3 strokes per round.
 
Second-year head coach Ben Corbid returns eight letterwinners from last season where the Beavers finished fourth at the NSIC Championships and has added three newcomers.
 
Bemidji State opens the spring season Sept. 14-15 at the MSU/CSP Fall Brawl at the Troy Burne Golf Course in Hudson, Wis.
