BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University women's cross-country team races in their second 6,000-meter race Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the Bob Waxlax Invitational in Sauk Rapids, Minn., hosted by St. Cloud State University.
 
With a seventh-place finish and program record at the Jimmie Invite Mary Goodwin looks to help the Beavers place high in their next meet. Goodwin's first 6K of the season she ran a time of 23:55.9 at the Roy Griak Invitational. Running in a close second for BSU is Alexis Erickson who finished 10^th in the race only nine seconds behind Goodwin.
 
The Beavers will be returning back to the Bob Waxlax Invitational after last years fifth-place finish. Last year five Beavers set personal records on the 6,000-meter course.
