ST. PAUL, Minn. (O'Shaughnessy Stadium) -- Facing chilly conditions at the Tomcat Twilight in St. Paul, Minn., Wednesday evening, Bemidji State University outdoor track & field earned three event wins and saw three top 10 program marks set.
The Beavers' three event wins all came in sprint events, including sophomore Alaina Hall with a time of 12.28 in the 100-meter dash, junior Janice Cole with a time of 59.39 in the 400m dash and the 4x100m relay team of Cole, Hall, freshman Shackera Douglas and junior Kendra Ekereke with a time of 47.87. Her vault ranks tied for sixth all-time for BSU outdoors while senior Mathea Brink set the 10th-fastest time in program history in the 5,000m run with a time of 19:40.24. Brink finished 21st in the event Wednesday.
