MOORHEAD, Minn. – Bemidji State University junior cross country athlete
Mary Goodwin set a new program record in the 4,000-meter race Friday night at the Dragon Twilight hosted by Minnesota State University, Moorhead. Goodwin ran a time of 14:26.66 to surpass the previous school record by 26 seconds ran by
Ryne Prigge at the event in 2019.
Goodwin paced the Beavers and finished 20
th individually at the meet with senior transfer
Lexi Erickson following and ran the program's third-best time of 15:03.94. Freshman Maggi McCarthy ran a time of 15:38.69 for the program's sixth-best time in the 4,000-meter while junior
Carol Miller ran the program's eighth best time at 15:51.43.
