Box Score ROGERS, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Women's Tennis team captured its first victory of the season Saturday evening defeating University of Wisconsin River Falls 9-0 in its non-conference match in Rogers, Minn.
 
The Beavers won all six singles matches and all three doubles to earn the 9-0 victory.
 
At No. 1 singles, Kate Taylor defeated Chloe Struss 6-1, 6-1. In No. 2 singles, Valesca Rodriguez defeated Sydney Wiener 6-3, 6-0. Then at No. 3 singles, Ana Lucia Ibañez defeated Sarah Baker 6-1, 6-2. At No. 4 singles, Isabela Nelson defeated Grace Aerts 6-2, 6-4. At No. 5 singles, Reagan Schwartzer defeated Alicia Langbehn 6-2, 6-0 and at No. 6 singles Macey Goochey defeated Kennedy Ziefert 6-3, 6-2.
 
The No. 1 doubles team of Taylor and Rodriguez defeated Wiener and Baker 8-6 then at No. 2 doubles Ibañez and Nelson defeated Aerts and Ziefert 8-0 followed by No. 3 doubles Goochey and Schwartzer defeated Langbehn and Struss, 8-2.
 
The Beavers have the next weekend off and return home to host its lone match of the 2024 season at Gillett Wellness Center. The Beavers play host to University of Minnesota, Crookston at 4 p.m.
