The 1982 Beavers, under Head Coach Bob Montebello and Assistants Jim Grimm and Pete Maus, made history. The team went 23-20 overall and 14-6 in the Northern Intercollegiate Conference on its way to a conference championship, a District 13 title, the Area IV Championship, and a berth in the NAIA College World Series.Â
