Dick lettered Track, 1955. Drake Relays Mile Relay Team, 1956. He also lettered Wrestling, 1955 and 1956. After BSU Dick coached High School Wrestling and his overall Coaching Record was 35-3-1.  His team won Conference Team Champions 3 years. He was also a Cross Country Skiing Coach for 10 Years. State Biathlon Masters Champion, 1978. Minnesota High School Coaches 25 Year Club.  Minnesota High School Wrestling Coach 15 Year Club.
