Hazel Leland was a 1948 Physical Education Graduate. Hazel was a Minnesota Amateur Golf Champion, in 1957.  Was named Woman Athlete of the Year; Yakima, Washington, 1958-1959. Coach State Champion Yakima Valley. College Men's Golf Team, 1960. BPW Boss of the Year, 1978. Division Chairman of Physical Education Yakima Valley College.
