Robert Huber lettered and participated at National level in three separate sports while a BSU athlete; earned 3 letters in track and field; set 12 BSU pole vault records and participated at 1965 National Championships; earned 2 letters in swimming; set a 400 freestyle relay record and participated at 1964 National Championships; earned 2 letters in gymnastics and was a member of the 2nd place team at National Championships, 1964-'65; coached track, swimming and gymnastics at Technical High School in St. Cloud from 1971-'78; skied Grand Junction, Colorado, at the Winter Festival for disabled veterans; the first person confined to a wheelchair to ever participate in a safari to Tanzania (1987); active volunteer at VA Hospital in St. Cloud; Advocate for the rights of the disabled; member of the ADA Commission at the Central Minnesota Care Center in St. Cloud; currently a volunteer track coach at Apollo High School in St. Cloud.
