While his time at BSU John lettered in Football, 1964 and 1965. After playing at BSU he became a Youth Baseball and Football Coach, from 1966-1988. Also was a Youth Hockey and Softball Coach, from 1966-1988. Superintendent of Schools, 1976-1988. Circle Pines Centennial School District.
