At her time at BSU, Carol played women's field hockey, volleyball, basketball, softball, and track from 1966-1969. After her athletic career at BSU, she became a swimming, volleyball, basketball, and track coach. Her teams were Track Conference Champions, 1983 and 1984. Her basketball team were the District Champions, in 1976. BSU Women's Athletics Outstanding Alumni, in 1982. Carol was also rewarded with the Regional Track Coach of the Year, in 1984.
