Don Thompson was a 3 sport athlete, he lettered in Football, from 1961-64. Was named Most Valuable Player and All-NIC, 1964, also was All-NAIA District 13 Halfback. He also lettered Hockey, 1961 and 1962. And during the spring he lettered in Track, from 1961-63. After his career at BSU Don went on the play in the CFL and played for the Saskatchewan Roughrider, 1965-66. After his CFL career he became a Football coach, his Coaching Record was 18-4. Don was also a wrestling coach and his coaching Record was 31-6.
