Coached BSU Swimming and Diving Teams, 1968-1991; Coached BSU Cross Country Running Team; During his career at BSU - Swimming and Diving Teams had a 150-49 Win / Loss Record; Northern Intercollegiate Conference Champions or Runners-up from 1969-1982; Lee had 151 All-Americans, 69 Honorable Mention All-Americans, and 14 Academic All-Americans on his squads; Of these, Seven Qualified for the Olympic Trials and four won National Championships; At National Meets, Lee’s Teams finished in the top 20 every year, Twelve Times in the Top Ten, with Highest Finish Being Fourth Place, Four Times; Inducted into the Minnesota State Swimming and Diving Coaches Hall of Fame, 1996; NAIA and CSCAA Swimming and Diving Coach of the Year, 1980; NAIA and CSCAA Diving Coach of the Year, 1990; CSCAA Twenty Five Year Coaching Award, 1991; During Career Served as NAIA Swimming and Diving Association Secretary, Vice-President, President and Championship Meet Manager; American Red Cross Volunteer, Water Safety Instructor / Trainer, and Lifeguard Instructor /Trainer, 1968-1998;World Games Diving Committee Member, 1978-1979; International Coaching Exchange, 1976; Charter Member of the BSU Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Committee.
