Hall of Fame
A 1971 graduate of BSU, Jim McElmury was a member of the BSU Hockey Team from 1968 to 1971. Jim was All Conference, All American and NAIA All Tournament for each of the four years he attended BSU. The Beaver's were NAIA Champions for all four years as well. After graduating from BSU, Jim was selected as a member of the 1972 Olympic Hockey Team, which won the Silver Medal. He was also a member of the US National Hockey Team in 1970, 1971, 1976, and 1977. Jim played in the NHL for the Minnesota North Stars, Kansas City Scouts, and Colorado Rockies. Jim also played on the BSU Baseball Team for one year.
