Willis Spaulding while at BSU was a four sport athlete. He lettered in Basketball, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1946. Lettered in Football, 1940, 1941, 1942. Lettered in Track, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1946; and was the Co-Captain, 1942 and 1943. And he also lettered in Boxing, 1947; and was named the Captain, in 1947. Willis was a Participant in 1942 for the NAIA Basketball Tourney. Was named All-NIC Basketball Selection, in 1943. Was a Member of the NIC Basketball Champions, 1943. BSU Foundation Board Member. And is an Avid Bemidji Area Athletic Booster.
