Hall of Fame
Charlie Brown played ice hockey on two teams during the 1969-70 season. He played for BSU and the U.S. National Hockey team, winning the NAIA Title (BSU) and the World B Championship (U.S.). After Brown graduated from BSU, he received a master's degree in Physical Education from the University of Minnesota. Brown taught and coached fast pitch softball at Rosemont High School in Rosemont, Minnesota for 35 years. As Curriculum Director for players and coaches of the Eagan Hockey Board in Eagan, Minnesota, he coached 17 different Eagan youth teams including hockey, baseball, and soccer. In 1977 Brown became a member of the NAIA Hall of Fame, and this past spring was inducted into the Minnesota State High School Leagues Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
