Harlan Attleson was a multi sport athlete while at BSU, he lettered in Football, from 1936-1939. Also lettered in Basketball, from 1937-1940; and was named  Captain, 1939 and 1940. Made the All-NIC Basketball, 1939 and 1940. The BSU Beavers won the NIC Basketball Champions, 1940. After his athletic career at BSU Harlan became a High School Basketball Coach, his Record in basketball was 57-14, and his record in Football was 31-9. Retired Major U.S. Air Force. Civilian Sports Director, from 1966-1980. U.S. Air Force and U.S Army.
