Jerome Daniels lettered four times as pitcher on BSU's baseball team. Daniels taught for 31 years at Fosston High School in Fosston, Minnesota. He was honored in 1986 as Fosston Teacher of the Year. Daniels coached boys varsity golf for 25 years, girls varsity golf for one year, elementary and junior high basketball for 17 years, and girl's varsity basketball for one year. In 1985 Daniels was nominated for National Golf Coach of the Year, and in 1993 became a finalist for the same award.
