Hall of Fame
A 1983 graduate of Bemidji State University, Sherry Hill participated on the university's volleyball, track and field, and basketball teams. Currently, Sherry is a corrections agent in Bemidji, and she has kept active in athletics since her first coaching position in 1983 as a volleyball official. Sherry has also taught physical education and health at Staples High School, where she was also a basketball, volleyball, and track coach. In 1986, Sherry took a position at Fridley High School where she was the assistant girls' basketball coach and also a long term physical education substitute and assistant girls' track coach at Spring Lake Park High School. She has since held coaching positions at North Hennepin Community College, Washburn High School, Hamline University, and, most recently, at Blackduck High School as a volleyball coach. An active volunteer in the Bemidji community, Sherry gives her time to the Special Olympics, Beaver Pride, numerous committees, and has been a guest speaker at BSU.
