Gail was a multi-sport athlete at BSU participating in Women's Softball, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, and Track and Field, 1967-1968. She became a multi-sport coach as well coaching in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Softball, and Gymnastics. MRPA State Champions Women's Volleyball, 1979, 1982, 1986, 1988. Her Volleyball team were the State Champions, in 1975. Sled Dog Racing, 1st Place. Minnesota Championship Points. Sled Dog Racing, 1st Place, North Star Races. She was named State Volleyball Coach of the Year in 1975. Also was named Regional Volleyball Coach of the Year 1982, 1983, 1985, 1987.
