Jeanne Glassmann earned her Bachelors Degree in physical education from BSU in 1976.  While working on her undergraduate degree, Jeanne was a four year letter winner in track and field and was a dominant force in the events she participated in, with hurdles being her premier event.  During her four years on the team, Jeanne won seven conference titles in the hurdles, setting six records.  She also won seven state titles, with each championship setting a new Minnesota state record in that event.  She also qualified to compete in the nationals in the 200 and 400 yard hurdles.  Jeanne was named All Conference three years and conference MVP two years.  She was team captain in 1975 and 1976 and was also named team MVP.  Jeanne still holds the BSU record in the 100 yard hurdles.  Aside from track and field, Jeanne participated and lettered one year on the women's field hockey team.  After completing her degree, Jeanne became a teacher and standout coach at Roseau High School.  She has coached eight district and three regional championship teams.  She has two daughters who competed at the state level, one becoming a five time state track and field champion.  Jeanne has been named Coach of the Year in track and field five times and was named to the BSU Women's Athletics All 30th Anniversary Team in 2000.  Jeanne has been an active member of her church and served as a member of the Roseau volunteer ambulance squad.  Jeanne and her husband Robert have two daughters, Kristi and Laura, and make their home in Roseau, Minnesota.
